AmpHosted - Earn Credits & Money
AmpHosted Credit System AmpHosted has a new credit system! You can earn credit by being active on the forum, you can then turn your forum credits into billing credits, meaning you can use them on your next invoice! If you stay active enough, you can be hosted for FREE! This applies to all hosting plans, virtual, reseller, email, etc. Rules / TOS You are not to abuse this feature. Pointless posts and threads will be removed, and you will receive an infraction. The amount of the thread or post you made will be deducted from your balance, and 20 extra with the infraction! No articles or tutorials you write can be plagiarized, if they are, the poster will have points deducted, as well as an infraction. Credit Details and Values (Group: Registered User) Induction Credit: 40 Applied when user first joins this usergroup such as by registration, subscription, manually, etc. Referral Credit: 10 Applied when a referral is validated. This is checked every midnight. Additive Referral Bonus: 0.5 This is multiplied against each user's referral points, and then multiplied against all other credit awards. You can set the number of valid referrals per referral point, and the maximum referral points attainable. Paycheck Credit: 1 Applied every set time period with no particular restrictions. Activity Credit: 10 Applied every set time period if the user qualifies as having been active during that period. Birthday Credit: 100 Applied at midnight on the birthday of each user. Granted Reputation Credit: 1 Applied when this user gives reputation to others. Can be set to multiply against the absolute reputation given. Received Reputation Credit: 2 Applied when the user receives reputation. Can be set to multiply against the amount of reputation received. Infraction Credit: -20 Applied when user receives an infraction. You probably want this to be negative as a penalty, and can be set to multiply against the infraction points. New Thread Credit: 5 Thread Rated Credit: 1 Posting Credit: 1 Applied for all valid posts, except when creating a new thread or replying to your own thread. Your Thread Posting Credit: 1 Applied for all valid posts made in a thread which they originally created. Post Size Credit: 0 (For Now) Applied in addition to any posting credits, for every word or character. Your Thread Viewed Credit: 0.5 Applied to the thread owner when their thread is viewed. Does not count on the owner, and can be set to not count for guests either. Your Thread Rated Credit: 2 Applied to the thread owner when their thread is rated. Does not count on the owner, and can be set to multiply against the rating. Your Thread Replied Credit: 2 Applied to the thread owner when their thread is posted in. Does not count on the owner. Your Profile Viewed Credit: 2 Applied to the profile owner when their profile is viewed. Does not count on the owner, and can be set to not count for guests either. Poll Created Credit: 1 Poll Voted Credit: 1 Attachment Credit: 0 Applied when uploaded Sent PM Credit: -2 Applied when user sends a PM, but does not prevent the action. Profile Picture Credit: 5 Applied when a profile picture is added. Profile Fields Credit: 0 Applied when the user has enough custom profile fields filled out. Fast ways to gain credit 1) Be helpful, if you help people, you gain credits by posting, and getting reputation. 2) Make articles and tutorials, by creating threads, with large articles or tutorials within the original post, you gain a lot of credits 3) Offer items or services for credit 4) Put credits from your banking to savings account. It will gain interest (0.035%) 5) Stay active, you get extra points just for doing... anything! NOTE Right now, this is active, meaning you can earn credits, however, if we feel that credits are being earned with not enough effort, they will be changed without any notice, and if any users have exploited the credit earning rates, there credit will be modified per an administrators discretion.How to Transfer to Billing This is the easy part!
